Women experience perimenopause and menopause differently. Common concerns may include:

These symptoms can have many causes. An evaluation helps determine whether hormone changes, thyroid concerns, metabolic health, medications, lifestyle factors, or another. Condition may be contributing.

AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH

Your care begins with a review of your symptoms, medical history, current medications, health risks, and goals. Appropriate laboratory testing may be recommended based on your individual situation.

Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and is not the only option for managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms. When treatment is appropriate, we will discuss available hormonal and non hormonal options, potential benefits, possible risks, and appropriate follow-up.

Your treatment plan is based on your individual clinical need, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

You will start with an initial consult that will be 30-60 minutes in person at the office. Once we establish your goals for treatment and medical history, we will discuss symptoms and concerns. Once treatment plan has been discussed you can decide if you would like to proceed with treatment. 

I will provide a breakdown of payment for each plan. The consult fee is due upon booking appointment, and treatment plans are due on a monthly scheduled plan. 

Visits:

Visits will be on a monthly basis to evaluate how the plan is going, if changes need to be made and medication management until we are able to be at maintenance. Medications will be ordered at this time for the month if needed. The initial visit is $150 which includes the plan established. Follow up visits are included in monthly membership and can be done in person or virtually with video and audio capability for the visit, in person visit is required once a year. 

Labs:

There are two options for labs. The first option is an order sent with patient to take to lab of their choice to use commercial insurance for the labs. Any cost not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the patient when billed from the lab. 

The second option is to have the labs drawn at the office. The cost of the labs will be discussed at initial visit.  Labs will be required throughout program for follow up.

Medication:

The medication we use is dependent on the treatment goals and labs. The medication is ordered and sent to your home.

The cost of the initial consult is non refundable once the visit is completed. If you choose not to continue with choosing a treatment plan, a refund will not be issued. If the appointment needs to be rescheduled it must be done more than 24 hours before the appointment time. If an account is past due, the medication will not be ordered or refilled until the account is paid up to date. Memberships can be cancelled up until 2 days prior to monthly billing on the first of the month.
