Mischaela has been working in the medical field over 10 years and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from OSF Saint Francis College of Nursing In 2017. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With full practice authority licensure in Illinois and Kansas. She is certified in the Potenza microneedling with radio frequency and the Elite IQ  laser machines by Cynosure,  the VI peels through Vitality Institute, PCA chemical peels through PCA, IV hydration and vitamin injections through ENP course, and Dermaplaning through DermaplanePRO. She has completed WorldLink training for hormone replacement and thyroid optimization. She has also completed training at the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, and Rana Kenelly training courses for neuromodulators and dermal fillers. She is the owner of Emerge MediSpa & Wellness Center in Jacksonville, IL.

I grew up in Jacksonville, Illinois and graduated high school at JHS. During this time I spent a majority of my time dancing at Steven’s School of Dance and Gymnastics. 

After graduating high school I pursued my bachelors of science in nursing at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville and graduated this past winter, December of 2021. 

Since arriving back home in Jacksonville, I have started working as a NICU nurse at St. John’s and am now pursuing a career with Emerge Medispa as well. I will be performing microneedling and laser hair removal! I am excited to join the team!!
